The Heart of Confidence LLC
Problem
For this project I used the company’s current logo to base their color palette and typography on. Some of the requests from the client were to use leaves in the design and create an earthy but fun color palette. It was also important to the client that the site was accessible to people with disabilities.
Solution/Impact
I was able to come up with color for the company that the client was happy with and that would work well on the website for readability and ease of navigation. I also came up with company fonts that would look good on the website, but still be very easy to read. The subtle use of leaves can be seen throughout the website and social media posts. For accessibilty, I used the combination of a plugin, javascript, and design principles to make the website WCAG 2.1 level AA compliant. Not long after the website and social media I created launched, the owner of the business was able to quit her regular job and work full time on this project.

In addition to creating branding materials, a website, and social media posts, I also updated the Facebook business page and created a cover image that was consistent with her brand.
